AYSO has
one of the better training programs in the country for volunteers
at all levels. Our region will be requiring safe haven training
for all volunteers. Our goal is to make it as rewarding as
possible for your child, and to maintain the Safe, Fair and
Fun theme of AYSO.
On-line Training and Safe Haven can be found at http://www.aysotraining.org/index.htm. You will need to send an email to ayso354@yahoo.com to get your volunteer number.

Shoutouts
to Trainers and Trainees
We would like to recognize some coaches who attended the
Advanced Coach Training last August. John Reid, Mike Remy,
Cary Shaw, Larry Monson and Dain Brown all obtained
their Advanced Coach Training Certificate. These individuals
spent approximately 18 hours of their time learning from Bill
Barton and Emilio Funes some of the finer points
of coaching. Thank you to Bill and Emilio for the training.
Thank you to the coaches for your desire to learn more. The
skills of coaching within Sandy AYSO improve every year. Letīs
get more of you out there for the next sessions.
Every
coach is required to attend Safe Haven training. It will depend
upon your interest and the level you are coaching as to how
much additional training will be required. We will be setting
up more dates for Safe Haven training in the near future.
